Experience
Adrian
Garrone began his working career at the Australian
Taxation Office as an Assessor. He more recently has
owned his own accountancy practice since 1996, having
owned Lutz and Associates, Edge Hill Accountancy, and
Advantage Accountancy during this time.
Adrian
began financial planning in 1998 and has built up the
business primarily from his accounting clients. His
experiences include being involved in property
development having built over 60 semi detached homes in
North Queensland. His experiences extend to having
started the Bakers Delight store in Cairns Central and
previously owning the Muffin Break store, a top ten
national store also at Cairns Central.
Education
Adrian graduated
from James Cook University in Townsville
in 1986 with a Bachelor of Commerce
Degree. He then completed his (CPA) Certified
Practicing Accountants course while
working for a Chartered Accountants
firm.
He then completed his MBA with Deakin
University in 2008 and was awarded
Financial Planning specialisation
accreditation with the Certified
Practicing Accountants in 2009, and in
2011 was awarded Fellow Chartered
Financial Practitioner status by the
AFA.
Passions
Adrian enjoys
helping families structure and protect
their business life. He does this by
developing systems and investments
strategies so they can live the life
they dream about and work hard for.
Adrian enjoys coaching Cairns Basketball
representative teams, and is the
president of the Cairns Taipans.
Adrian is married to Catherine (nee
Howe) and has two children Luke and
Antoinette who are now 14 and 12.
